Kohler Bath

Eric Cohler is a designer that designs for Kohler Design Center. The inspiration for Spa Tower is provided by the magnificent structures such as Michelangelo's Laurentian Library in Florence, , the towers of Siena and the Pantheon in Rome. In bathroom design Spa Tower reaches new heights  based on a blend of Renaissance styles and contemporary. Cohler considers it a spiritual experience that will make you feel embraced and enveloped.

The shower space is the main focus .The overall walls are graced with Limestone tiles and Ann Sacks linen. The eye is drawn both horizontally and upward. The earth tone is to be found in materials. They are the color of Renaissance and of the Italian countryside.

An innovative layout is featured by Kohler bath. Through the open,  large shower  the powder room is accessed . The bathers are allowed to preset shower temperature. You can separate the shower from the toilet and the sink by drawing waterproof curtains if privacy is needed. Extra places can be found which hides extra storage. Natural materials are more and more included in the construction and design of their homes.

One reason is that natural world inspires beauty and is harmless.  Homeowners are showing strong interest in comfortable and soothing materials especially in the bathroom whether this reflects an increased environmental awareness, , a renewed appreciation for the beauty of nature or a desire to return to the basics. The trend toward using materials found in nature is  gaining ground from window and walls treatments to flooring, cabinets and countertops.

We like to connect to things that we are familiar, comfortable and honest,  when it comes to homes. Complementary and soothing are the colors of metal, marble, wood and stone. Their textures are straightforward and organic. Natural materials are like childhood memories: real, unchangeable and safe. Natural environments include a mix of textures and colors. Nature finds a balance between soft and hard, light and dark. You can make your home more natural and comfortable by echoing nature’s blending of textures and colors. Many aspects of our lives are also balanced: personal time, family, play and work.

Even a sink faucet can be chosen in organic shapes that resemble the ones that can be found in nature. Popular for countertops are marble, Jerusalem stone, soapstone, quartz, granite that are all honed stones and are known for their soften hard edges.  You can find realistic stone such as cherry. Tile is another opportunity to mix motif, texture and color. Kohler bath deliver the natural feel by marble, stone, ceramic and glass tiles.

Finish and color play an important role for the fixtures of the bathroom. Play with both color and texture for mixtures. The common colors that are found in nature are grey, green and beige. Choosing more than one surface you can take advantage of this variety. Natural materials are complemented by one another . Due to their calming effect birch and maple are the most popular woods. Growing in popularity is bamboo.
