Puppies First Bath

Puppies do not like their first bath! I think all animal lovers who adopted a dog know very well that the previous sentence is very true. When it comes to bathrooms, they do whatever they can to escape the ordeal of cleaning. However, sometimes it is absolutely necessary, so that we, the masters, we take courage and do the dog running through the living room, which, with a remarkable sixth sense knows that it is time byte and obviously not too excited perspective ... There is myth that the bathroom which is not the healthiest activity for a dog. On the other hand, use special shampoo even for those dogs which have bad effects on its fur. However, the latter are clearly recommended and very well may be used once every few weeks. Medical shampoo should be used depending on the health of pet fur and generally, you should have a veterinarian agreement.

But when should we do puppies first bath? The bath should take place only when fur is greasy and eventually ... in you company. Persistent odor is also a precious clue. If fur is dirty with mud, do not push the dog hurried to the bathroom: it dries quickly and it will clean the dog alone. However, the time comes when it is strictly necessary so give him much loved dog bath! How should you begin? First of all, make sure an ideal environment for washing: put on the floor in the bathroom, a blanket and make sure you have at hand all the necessary (shampoo, conditioner, if you use towels - as many and as a power greater absorption and brush).

Now you can handle the dog: check before you put in the bathtub if fur is okay, that presents no broken parts or nodes. They are difficult to spread in water, so it is better to handle them now, with a brush and ... with much patience. Then comes the hard part: putting the puppy in the tub! It is better for puppy, but also for your, you do not suddenly try to talk calmly and relaxed and once in the tub, rewarded him (one comfort is not enough, it works much better motivation material, like a tasty biscuit).

Start from the top when you do puppies' bath: do not throw water directly on the face and not use the shower because it might scare him from now and you will not able to complete the bathroom. Better use a damp sponge, moisten slightly with the delicate areas.

Apply a small quantity of shampoo, rub it slightly and then rinse. Repeat the same steps with body wash. After thorough shampooing (as far as we are allowed the puppy), be sure to rinse as well. This is very important, because the remains of shampoo in fur could seriously affect its health. Remove dog on blanket and dry it with towels that you put on hand. Do not use dryer for pet frightened by noise from it and might oppose stronger next time.
